how much does a custom vacation cost?
It all depends on what you’re looking for. Roughly speaking, prices for a personally curated vacation (hotels, transfers, excursions, etc.) begin at about $500 per person, per day. My best advice to you is to schedule a free consultation to chat about your trip. There’s absolutely zero commitment and it will give you the knowledge you need to create the trip of a lifetime.
how long does it take to design a custom trip?
A lot depends on your budget, travel style, and the demand for your destination. Vacation planning can take as little as 1 week or as long as 12 weeks. To be safe, I advise giving yourself as much lead time as you can to plan your perfect trip. Ideally, I’d suggest 6 months for summer travel and 3 months for any other time of the year. A travel surcharge applies for last-minute trips.

how do I make the most of our time together?
Your time is precious, and you may only have brief windows to communicate with me. Here’s how you can make the most of our time together. I ask that each client arrives at their appointed time ready to discuss their itinerary, ask questions, and suggest any changes. This is an ideal time to make the very best of our collaboration!
how do I provide feedback on my itinerary?
Collaboration is a very important part of the travel planning process. Your input is crucial to the success of your trip. As such, I welcome feedback in a variety of formats. The very best way to provide feedback is via 1) our scheduled calls, 2) Email messages, and 3) the Travefy messaging component.

What is trIP PLANS and how does it work?
Trip Plans is an itinerary-builder program that I use to design your trip in real time. The software works on your desktop, in PDF form & as a mobile app you can access during your trip. You may also comment on all aspects of your trip through the native messaging portal.
What is traveljoy and how does it work?
TravelJoy is a client management system that helps me run my business efficiently & securely. Client forms, proposals, payments & reminders flow through a secure trip sequence that saves us both a lot of time & significantly reduces errors.
What is google meet and how does it work?
Occasionally, we may be required to communicate by video chat. I use Google Meet (formerly Google Hangout) to conduct my video chats. It’s easy to use and our conversations are 100% secure.
why is there an extra fee added to my invoice?
I provide a variety of payment options for your convenience. If you would like to pay via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), a 4% convenience fee will be added to your invoice. Or you may pay your invoice via bank transfer, in which case a 1.5% convenience fee will apply.
how do I complete the pre-tour paperwork?
In order for the research, collaboration, and booking process to go smoothly, it’s very important that you complete & sign your pre-tour paperwork in a timely fashion. The pre-tour paperwork process includes: 1) reviewing the welcome packet, 2) completing the client profile, and 3) signing the client agreement & credit card authorization forms.
how do i complete & sign forms online?
All of my documents and forms are stored online for easy and secure access. Informational documents will be sent as attachments via email and may be downloaded & saved to your computer. Forms and agreements containing sensitive client information are accessed on secure servers. These forms will be completed & signed online, then downloaded & saved to your computer.
why do you need a copy of my passport?
Airline companies are very unforgiving when it comes to booking errors and issuing inaccurate airline tickets. They require travel advisors to provide your full name EXACTLY as it appears on your passport. Despite our very best combined efforts, mistakes do happen. To prevent these errors, and avoid costly others that require voiding airline tickets, I require you to send me a copy of your passport.
Why do you require a travel insurance waiver?
Travel Insurance is a vital part of your travel arrangements. It protects you, your trip and your travel investment. Travel suppliers, airline carriers, or travel agencies do not compensate any of your unforeseen expenses in the event of cancellation or failure to make your trip (missed flights, cruises, etc.), lost baggage, loss of health, death and/or accidents or emergency evacuation due to illness, natural disasters or acts of terrorism.
I strongly recommend that you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy for the duration of your journey. If you decline to purchase travel insurance, then you must sign the travel insurance waiver form.
What is whatsapp and how does it work?
WhatsApp is a smart phone app that allows you to securely call, video chat, and send text messages for free, anywhere in the world. All you need is WIFI access. We’ll set it up on your phone before you leave home so that we can communicate during your trip.
